Embarking on Adventures

My wanderlust knows no bounds, my imagination thrives on visiting new places and experiencing unfamiliar cultures.

Traveling opens up a world of possibilities, each journey a unique tapestry woven with experiences, flavors, and smiles that linger long after the trip is over.

One unknown journalist said it best, “One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things”.

I have always loved traveling, while I am not exactly sure when the love affair began I generally say it was on a family trip to St. John, USVI when I was in middle school. The entire experience was magical. The love story continued and grew with each new country I visited. Europe was first with Italy, England, and France.

My love of traveling bled through into my undergraduate degree from Clemson University, where I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Parks, Recreation, Tourism Management (Concentration: Travel & Tourism) and a minor in History.

After college I worked in Tourism Marketing for a Chamber of Commerce and continued to plot and plan for my next adventure. Among a heavy season of bridesmaids dresses, weddings, and engagement parties I managed to squeeze in Costa Rica!

After working for a couple of years, my wanderlust got the better of me and I applied to be a Peace Corps Volunteer. I was assigned to Cameroon and a whole new relationship spun off from my earlier love affair - Africa.

The world is a magnificent thing and my goal in life is to experience as much of it as possible, to share that with others and in turn help them plan the best journeys they can imagine.
